Animated Christmas Letter: Personalized Digital E-Card with Cracker, Lights and Ornament

A personalized ecard and animated christmas letter that opens with the pull of a Christmas cracker, with your own words, delivered as a private link they can open on any phone.

When you cannot share the table this year, send them a place at it. A Christmas dinner table at night: green velvet, gold rimmed plates, crystal glasses and flickering tealights. A burgundy and gold cracker waits for them. They take hold of one end and pull, the paper strains and snaps, and out tumble a paper crown, a cracker joke and a letter with their name on it. Your words are written onto cream paper in green ink, line by line. Then they light up Christmas: a string of old fashioned painted glass bulbs is laid across the table, and each bulb glows as their finger runs along it. At the end, a golden ornament is set down and the pen writes their name on it, with Merry Christmas underneath.

How it unfolds

1. Pull the Christmas cracker until it snaps
2. A paper crown, a joke and your letter fall onto the table
3. Your words are written in green ink, at a gentle reading pace
4. Run a finger along the string of lights to light every bulb
5. A golden ornament with their name, and Merry Christmas

A slow, soft piano version of Silent Night plays in the background (it can be muted with one tap).
