## Animated Word Tiles Love Letter: Custom Crossword E-Card with Your Names and Memory Words

A word game ecard and animated love letter: they drag letter tiles across a wooden board to spell your words, ending on I LOVE YOU. A private link, not physical tiles.

It is all one slow Sunday morning: a linen tablecloth, coffee, the newspaper and a pair of reading glasses. On the table is a small linen bag of tiles with their name on the label.

They pull the two cords apart to loosen the bag, then tip it over, and the tiles tumble out onto the table, a few of them face down. The tiles line up on a wooden rack and a dark walnut board slides in. A few squares at its center are marked, on the line of a little inlaid heart, and they drag the tiles onto them one by one to spell the first word: their name, or a word you choose. A wrong tile slides back to the rack, and if they get stuck, the next square glows softly.

Next comes the crossword. For each of your 4 memory words, new squares are marked across the board, crossing the words already there. They fill them tile by tile, and as each word is finished, a pen writes its short line on a paper slip beside the board, like "Paris: the night the train never came". Then a folded note slides out from under the board, and your letter is written onto the cream paper in ink, line by line.

Last, the rack comes back with your last word, one tile missing. A single tile lies face down on the table. They turn it over: it is a blank, and the pen writes the missing letter on it. Then they drag the whole word onto the board, through the red heart square. A score pad closes it: both your names, the rounds in pencil, the totals, "Winner: us" and your last line, with the finished board beside it.

## How it unfolds

1. Pull the cords and tip the bag of tiles
2. Spell the first word on the marked squares
3. Fill the crossword with your 4 memory words
4. Your letter is written in ink, at a gentle reading pace
5. Turn over the blank tile and play the last word through the heart
6. The score pad: your names, "Winner: us" and your last line

## What we personalize

## How it works

1. Place your order. In the personalization box, write their name and your name.
2. After ordering, send us in Etsy messages your letter, 4 memory words with a short line for each, and your last word.
3. Within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your details, we send you a private link here in Etsy messages.
4. Share the link with them by text, WhatsApp or email, or open it together.

If anything should change, just reply and we will fix it.

## Good to know

▸ This is a digital animated letter, played in the browser. There are no physical tiles, no board and no print. Nothing is shipped.
▸ The board and tiles are our own design, drawn for the screen. It is not an official version of any board game.
▸ Each memory word has to share at least one letter with a word already on the board, so they can cross. If one does not fit, we will tell you and help you choose another.
▸ Words can be in another language too: the tiles show accented letters, like Ç, Ş, Ğ, É or Ñ.
▸ The scores on the pad come from our own playful tile values. Nobody really loses.
▸ On a phone they drag the tiles with a finger, on a computer with the mouse. Each step also works with the Enter key.
▸ The names and words in the listing images are a demo. Yours will show your own words and letter.
▸ Sound starts after the first tap, as phones require.
▸ Because every letter is made for one person, we cannot accept returns, but we will gladly fix any detail until it is right.
▸ Cancellations are possible within 12 hours of ordering.
